State of Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects

FlowCharts

The Board has created two flowcharts to help the public, related professions, and comity licensees determine when an architect or professional engineer is required for a new construction, renovation or an addition project in Nebraska. The charts are based on both the provisions of Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 81-3449 and 81-3453, the Exemption Matrix in Board Rule 10.4, and Rule 10.5 relating to renovations and one-level additions.
