State of Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects

Flowcharts

The Board has created two flowcharts to help the public and related professions to determine when an architect or professional engineer is required for new construction, renovation, or an addition project in Nebraska. The charts are based on both the provisions of Neb. Rev. Stat. ยงยง81-3449 and 81-3453, the Exemption Matrix in Rule 10.3 and Rule 10.4 relating to renovations and one-level additions.

To request a hard copy of the flowcharts, please contact the Public Information Officer.
